Everyone at The Animal Hospital loves animals. From the first person you see at reception to the highly qualified specialists.
They've dedicated their lives to animals. And it shows. No challenge is too big or too small for us. From the tiniest canary to the biggest elephant (true story, we have treated elephants). If it's an animal we'll give it 100% care and love.
Animals fill us with love and happiness. But when your beloved pet gets sick or injured, you'll want to know the facts behind your vet. Here are ours:
All of the above means we are well positioned to deliver the right diagnosis and the right treatment to ensure the recovery of your animal.
Dog, cat, horse, farm or herd animal, exotic pet, you name it we can anaesthetise it. You have a highly skilled, experienced and dedicated vet anaesthesia team just down the road from you with 4 specialist veterinary anaesthetists and 5 in training, supported by 2 veterinary nurses and 2 technicians, all solely dedicated to anaesthetising your pet.
Our team is available 24 hours 7 days a week for any kind of animal requiring anaesthesia or emergency procedure. We also consult on pain management if your pet suffers from chronic disease such as arthritis or back pain and we consult with referring vets to advise on any anaesthetic or pain-related problem.
Our team of radiologists, technologists and veterinary nurses work with some of the most modern diagnostic equipment available including digital radiography, fluoroscopy and ultrasound. We even built our own CT Scanning Suite so we can scan horses and large farm animals as well as dogs, cats and small pets.
The science required to keeping animals healthy is the same as for us humans. And our Pathology service is well-equipped to get to the bottom of any diagnosis or problem. We handle all veterinary species, including companion, production and performance animals, as well as providing diagnostic services for indigenous wildlife species (including fish and marine mammals, as well as animals in zoological collections).
